Stroke: the warning signs your body may send
A stroke is a medical emergency that can occur suddenly. Contrary to some misconceptions, it doesn’t always happen without warning. In some cases, the body sends warning signals that should not be ignored.
Signs that should alert you immediately
Even though they appear suddenly and disappear quickly, these symptoms are very serious:
Numbness or weakness on one side of the body (face, arm or leg)
Difficulty speaking or understanding
Loss of vision or blurred vision
Dizziness or loss of balance
Intense and unusual headaches
These signs may correspond to a mini-stroke (TIA) , which is often a warning sign before a more serious stroke.
“One month before”: myth or reality?
The message of the image is exaggerated. 
There are not always visible signs a month before a stroke.
